Grass-Fed Chicken Eggs
Grass-Fed Eggs
100% Grass-Fed Chicken Eggs are in very short supply. The
number is so small that we are limiting sales to our largest
(most consistent) meat customers only. So if you are new,
or buy small quantities of meat please do not ask for eggs.
At the moment, the only eggs we have are Christopher Eggs. They are distributed under the Kroger label and we buy them from a local grocery store. If you cannot get these eggs in your area we can ship them to you at the same price as grass-fed eggs. The reason the price is so high is mostly in handling on our end. We take great care in packing these boxes, but invariably some or even many eggs may get cracked in shipping. I think the best case ever was only one cracked egg in six dozen. The worst was a couple dozen of cracked eggs. There's no telling what UPS did with that box.
When we are out the next best bet is
Second best behind them is Pilgrim Pride's Eggs Plus.
Grass-Fed Chicken Eggs
In season we literally have Real McCoy, 100% Grass-Fed Chicken Eggs. Our laying hens dine on grass, bugs (that eat grass mostly), grubs, and whatever animal they can catch and kill. (Chickens actually eat everything under the sun.) We do not feed our laying hens. They are as close to being "wild" as they can get. If it snows, we will feed our chickens alfalfa pellets. We don't want them to go hungry. But other than that they are on their own.
Grass-fed chicken eggs are very seasonal. A 100% grass-fed chicken will not lay eggs during the coldest and/or hottest months of the year. When available (spring and fall) we sell six dozen eggs at a time. The eggs cost $4.50 per dozen plus the bare bones shipping charge for UPS Ground.
Six Dozen Grass-Fed Eggs $28.00
